IIT is a Registered Training Organisation

IIT Training Pty Limited is a Registered Training Organisation, registered with the New South Wales Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB), National Code 90998.

What does this mean?

The National Training Agenda agreed to by the Commonwealth and State and Territory Governments provides for the recognition, Australia wide, of vocational training qualifications in nationally accredited training courses delivered and assessed by registered training organisations.

IIT Training Pty Limited has as its mission, the delivery of quality training and assessment services. As such, IIT Training Pty Limited is registered as a Registered Training Organisation for the delivery of vocational education and training programs by the NSW Vocational Education & Training Accreditation Board (VETAB), and to issue qualifications in respect of these programs. VETAB is the New South Wales Government training body that oversees the delivery of vocational training and education in New South Wales and the accreditation of training organisations.

Registration is only granted after quality assurance requirements are met by the Training Organisation. Registration of a training provider and accreditation of training programs is your assurance of quality and credibility in firstly, the teaching and assessment methods of that provider, and secondly, that the educational outcomes proposed by that program and the methods used to achieve those outcomes are acceptable and relevant to the appropriate industry, trade or profession. Under the National Training Agenda, this means that IIT is registered as a recognised Training Organisation throughout Australia, and that the qualifications that it issues for nationally accredited training courses must be recognised by all other registered training organisations, whether they are publicly funded, such as TAFE, or private colleges. Similarly, IIT will recognize qualifications issued by other RTOs - all AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment, in recognition of previous learning.
